Nintendo has finally revealed plans for E3 2019, and those, of course, include, among all the different activities, a Nintendo Direct presentation.
As usual, the video presentation will be released on a Tuesday, and this year it will take place on June 11, 2019, at 9 am Pacific Time (it’s 6 pm CET for us Europeans).
“The presentation will begin at 9 a.m. PT on June 11. Viewers can watch it by visiting https://e3.nintendo.com/. The presentation, which focuses entirely on software, will offer a look at games scheduled to launch in 2019,” said Nintendo.
This is a quite interesting description if you consider that there were rumors earlier this year that Nintendo could be dropping a Nintendo Switch Lite as soon as this June.
It’s worth noting, so, that the platform owner won’t be revealing any new hardware at the presentation, as it’ll focus on games, but this phrase itself seems to confirm that there are plans for the future in that regard. Also, Nintendo 3DS has not been mentioned at all, so it really looks like its run has come to an end.
A Nintendo Treehouse live stream will also be aired “to give viewers a deeper look into select games, along with commentary by those who know the games best.”
Additional details about the content of the Treehouse “will be announced at a later date,” so wait for more news as this live stream will also offer new announcement, possibly, like Metroid: Samus Returns a couple of years ago.
