One of the most anticipated games among those which haven’t been revealed yet is probably the next Splinter Cell.

While we’re all painfully waiting for Ubisoft to revive the iconic franchise, it looks like there’s someone out there who’s having a lot of fun about that.

Indeed, The Division 2 creative director Julian Gerighty has indeed shared what the company has already defined “a joke” about Splinter Cell being made right now at Ubisoft.

Gerighty posted a couple of photos and said he was “working on the next Splinter Cell (…) Can’t wait for E3.”

You can get it’s a joke by the fact that he has tagged other creative directors at Ubisoft like Dan Hay (Ubisoft Montreal) and Roman Campos Oriola (Ubisoft Montpellier), and games like Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six.

On top of that, he also used hashtags for Far Cry, For Honor, and The Division 2, claiming that more would be “on their way” for a “crossover,” including The Crew 2.

Julian was joking as Julian likes to do.”

“It looks like our creative directors are having fun right now. We do not have any announcements to make at this time.”

Indeed, Gerighty hasn’t deleted his tweets but added more fun to that, simply asking his followers how to delete tweets: “asking for a friend.”

I’m not saying this is not fun, but Ubisoft, announce the next Splinter Cell and we’ll be having even more fun.
