We reported over the last few days about the game in the making at From Software with the cooperation of Game of Thrones’ creator George R.R. Martin.

Martin said he has worked with a Japanese studio on a game, basically confirming previous past rumors about a partnership with Hidetaka Miyazaki.

We’ve learned today some more details about the project, which is reportedly set in a Nordic fantasy location.

Italian Journalist Antonio Fucito has shared on Twitter that he has some intel about the game, as he learned “many years ago” from a developer.

Fucito claims that the title might not be “fully open world” as previously reported since the engine in use has lots of “limitations.”

The engine won’t be changed in comparison with the latest entry Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, so it’ll be “the same (but improved) From Software” tool.

The journalist also reports that he is “not sure” about the name of the game, which is being dubbed Great Rune at the time being, as the codename for Bloodborne was supposedly “SPRJ” – so much different.

It is set to be revealed at E3 2019 during the Microsoft conference, even though as usual it will be multiplatform (so PC, PlayStation, and Xbox).

We’ll report more details as soon as they’re available, so stay tuned on Gamepur if you want to learn something else on the game.
