Despite an earlier leak, it appears that Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda will be releasing in June.

Cadence of Hyrule is a crossover game between Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda series. Crypt of the NecroDancer is a rhythm-based action-adventure game. Cadence of Hyrule has the same art style and gameplay as Crypt of the NecroDancer, though this time the setting is Hyrule. Link and Zelda are also playable characters. The lead character of Crypt of the NecroDancer, Cadence, will also be playable in the upcoming crossover.

Cadence of Hyrule was first announced at the end of Nintendo’s March Direct. Since its announcement, we haven’t heard much of it. It was slated in its announcement trailer to be released in the Spring of this year.

A few days ago, Nintendo eShop files were shared through Twitter, and it showed a placeholder date of May 31 for Cadence of Hyrule.

While that didn’t turn out to be the true date, a recent Japanese trailer may have revealed when the game will release. The trailer showed off more gameplay, and at the end reveals a June release date. Sadly, the trailer didn’t specify when exactly in June.

Its possible more information on Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda will be revealed at this year’s E3.
