According to a leak, Spyro Reignited will be winging his way towards the Nintendo Switch this September.
According to leaks and insider information, Go Nintendo is reporting that Spyro Reignited will make its way to the Nintendo Switch, with a planned September 3 release date. If true, it is highly likely we will see the announcement during Nintendo’s special Direct during the E3 expo.
Spyro is also reportedly going to be a playable character in the upcoming Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled. The tips came from an industry insider, and Go Nintendo seem very confident in the history of that source of accuracy when it comes to news.
Spyro Reignited consists of remakes of the first three games of the Spyro series. Insomniac developed the original games, and Toys For Bob developed the remakes. Published by Activision, the Spyro Reignited released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018.
The graphical style and mechanics of the game make it a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch, and this is certainly not the first rumor to appear about the games making their way to the platform. The first rumor surfaced back in February 2018, and many listings have appeared, then disappeared, from Nintendo’s website, the official Spyro website, and GameStop.
The most likely place for this announcement to occur will be during the Nintendo Direct event, which will take place on June 11, at 9 am PT. We will be glued to the streams as we bring you all the biggest news from this year’s expo.
