Niantic has just revealed the Pokémon who will be available in the coming Field Research and EX Raids. Starting on July 1, at 1 PM PDT, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, and Groudon will be available as Research Breakthrough encounters. Latias, Latios, Kyogre, and Groudon will all stop being available on September 1, at 1 PM PDT.
A special kind of Spinda will also be available during the Field Research. Spinda are bear-like Pokémon, who are known to have unique patterns on their bodies and these design types vary. Pokémon Go will be having Spinda with completely new markings on them during the Field Research. Players also have a chance to encounter a shiny Spinda.
Beginning on June 23, at 8 AM PDT, players who receive EX Raid Passes will have the opportunity to encounter Speed Forme Deoxys during EX Raids. To receive an EX Raid Pass, players need to win a Raid Battle at a qualifying Gym. You can check a Gym’s details to see if they are capable of hosting EX Raids.
Once you receive an invitation to an EX Raid, you are then able to check your EX Raid Pass for the date and time to challenge Speed Forme Deoxys.
