Rocksteady is hard at work on something that they have not announced yet. While we patiently wait for more news to drop at any point, there’s something new happening about their Batman Arkham series.
The Batman Arkham Collection leaked on Amazon a few hours ago, with the release date of September 6, 2019, attached. The guys at Rocksteady have quickly confirmed this. It’s launching only in Europe for PS4 and Xbox One but has some exciting goodies for fans over there.
The collection includes Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City and Batman Arkham Knight, with the first two being the remastered editions by the Chinese outlet Virtuos. These versions previously released as part of the Batman Return to Arkham compilation.
As said, this compendium’s PS4 version is including the exclusive Earth 2 Dark Knight skin you’ll be able to use in Batman Arkham Knight. It was previously only available for those who attended E3 2015 or grabbed it thanks to a US-only promotion with Mountain Dew. The skin is going to be free for everyone “early next year.”
“Batman: Arkham Collection is coming to Europe in Sept, and includes the E2DK skin (the first time it’s available outside NA),” said Gaz Deaves, Rocksteady’s community manager. “Early next year E2DK will be released as a free download for everyone who owns BAK on PS4 worldwide.”
