And now, for the news you would’ve never expected to read, here’s some new Aladdin and The Lion King remastered collection details.

At the latest 2019 GME Conference, as we reported, it was revealed that a collection including a remastered version of these two classics for SEGA Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (The Lion King alone) will be available for pre-orders today.

The launch date has yet to be shared, but managers were reportedly told that the compilation will be coming this Fall (someone says October) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. For some reason, the PC has been ruled out at the time being.

Interestingly, the compilation will also include new features.

As shared by Gematsu, both the games are being offered with the original graphics and the remastered ones with 1080p resolutions. On top of that, they’re coming with the original soundtracks and the remastered ones.

As for the features mentioned above, we’re talking about the ability to fast-forward and rewind so you can jump to any section of the game at your liking, and an assist mode that will show you how to complete a certain stage.

Considering that those games were initially tailored for a more mature Disney public, or that at least they were pretty tough to face in comparison with modern standards, we’re sure those features will come handy to both long-time fans and new audiences.
