Ghost Recon: Breakpoint’s beta was due to go live just a little while ago, but has now been delayed. According to a tweet from the official Ghost Recon Twitter account, this is due to the developers wanting to ensure as smooth an experience as possible for all players.

The beta had been due to begin at 03:00 PT/ 06:00 ET, but the start time has been pushed back a bit. As of yet, there is no revised time as to when the beta might begin. Players who currently attempt to log in are getting an error message which reads “SILENT-300086”, so if you have been confused about what is happening, that is why you cannot play. The beta is due to run until September 29, but it is unknown at this time if Ubisoft will extend that due to the delay getting started.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint will send players on a challenging run of missions on a man-made island populated by a mix of deadly machines and rogue soldiers, and it will be your job to stop them. You can play solo, or with up to four friends, as you try to figure out precisely what is going on, and deal with the threat of your own fellow Ghosts switching sides.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 4. It will also be the first new major game release that you will have access to as a member of Ubisoft’s new Uplay+ program.
