We’ve already told you about a possibly fake leak on Nintendo Switch Pro, which would release in 2021 with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. However, there are more details.
According to the same leak, the sequel to BotW is going to be called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Darkness. We’ve already heard about it, and it’s coming to the console with 4K and 60 frames per second graphics. These pieces of information are what make us hesitant about the rumor, though.
“A video demonstration was then shown with Zelda Breath of the Wild at 60 fps and 4K, running on a Switch 2 prototype, to members of the entire marketing department,” says the leak.
“In addition, a short gameplay demo (about 10 minutes) of the new Zelda game, Zelda Breath of the Darkness, is also shown,” it adds, for what matters the sequel.
“A battle is then shown where Link and Zelda fight together against a Dark Guardian in underground ruins, highlighting how Zelda helps Link by assisting him in the battle by protecting him with a dazzling light when he is in trouble and highlighting the enemy’s weaknesses.”
The follow up to Breath of the Wild would be coming at the launch of this new console in January 2021, and would be one of the first to show its potential. You can check more specs for the platform here, but bear in mind that this is still unconfirmed stuff.
