Spookiness returns to Battle Royale!

Heads up, Fortnite players because things are about to get spooky come tomorrow morning.

The official Fortnite Twitter account confirmed the next big holiday event set to come to the hit Battle Royale game. Once again called Fortnitemares, the tweet dares you to “Face your fears,” and also gives a time of 9am EDT for Oct. 29.

Unlike last year’s event, Fortnitemares is only set to last for about a week, wrapping up on Monday, Nov. 4.

Although contents for the event haven’t formally come out yet, many players are expecting several ghoulish skins, among other things. The Fortnite News page recently uploaded a video to Twitter, showcasing some potentially leaked skins. These include many monstrous faces, along with a sophisticated Agent costume, a devilish Delirium costume, and even a classic Skull Trooper skin.

That’s all we know so far, though the possibility of special events and other activities (demon fishing, perhaps?) is up there as well. Epic Games is keeping a tight lip on what Fortnitemares has to offer otherwise, considering that it’s suing an inside leaker for revealing details about Fortnite Season 2 ahead of its unveiling earlier this month.

Whatever the case, fans can expect a lot of treats — and very few tricks — with this week’s forthcoming event. We’ll let you know what’s up as soon as details are available. In the meantime, feel free to hit the lights and prepare for some Battle Royale spookiness.

Fortnite is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, mobile devices, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
