Real-time strategy fans have the chance to return to the class Warcraft 3 in a brand new light with the remastered Warcraft 3: Reforged game. It features numerous quality of life changes, revamped graphics, and the ability to connect to Battle.net so players can battle against their friends to prove who has the better tactics. When you want to play by yourself, you can check out the campaign missions which cover all four of the major factions in the game. How many campaigns are there?
The original Warcraft 3 game that released in 2002 had four different campaign missions, covering each of the four factions you could choose to play as in custom games. The four factions have a campaign highlighting their part in the overarching story and how it connects to the game. However, a year later, Warcraft 3 had an expansion come out for the game, The Frozen Throne.
The Frozen Throne added three new campaign stories, additional units for each faction, new heroes, slight balance changes, and other gameplay adjustments to improve the early portion of battles. For those who play Warcraft 3: Reforged, you will receive access to all seven of the campaigns that encompass the entire game. The Frozen Throne does come with Warcraft 3: Reforged, so there’s no additional DLC you need to purchase to complete the game. There’s also a short bonus campaign at the end of the DLC.
All in all, there are 60 missions in the entire game. If you want to play by yourself, you have 60 different missions to test your skills against while you learn about Warcraft 3‘s story. There are three different difficulty settings with the game giving you the option to play on easy to enjoy the story, medium to learn how to play the game, and hard to test your skills. Luckily, you can play the game offline at any time and continue to enjoy the campaign.
