Relaxation is a huge thing for your Sim in Sims 4. If your character doesn’t have a way to relax, all they do is go to work, eat, sleep, go to the gym and they don’t have any form of entertainment, which wears them out pretty quickly. You have a variety of options to choose from, but a great way to relax and even include some friends is to add a hot tub. You may want to think about how you bring a hot tub to your home, though.
The base game contains a hot tub called the Birthday Hot Tub, which goes for §3,000, but this was not always the case. Previously, Sim 4 players had to purchase the Perfect Patio Stuff Pack, which contained two different hot tubs, the Pringo’s Heater Hot Tub and the Left of Center Hot Tub, which went for §1,500 and §3,575, respectively.
To find them in the game’s Build Mode, go to the room section, the outdoor choices, and then click the garden plot. You should find them in there. However, you can also use the search bar to locate “hot tubs” by typing in any of the above names or using the generic hot tub search word. When you have enough money to place it, you can lay it down anywhere outside and add it to the other items in your backyard.
Hot tubs are a great way to keep your Sim clean and add a bit more fun in their life. They can invite other Sims over to enjoy it with them or have it as an optional thing to do while relaxing or hosting a party. Make sure you have enough room to add it to the backyard, though. These are relatively big objects. You also have the option to improve them if your Sim has enough of a handiness skill, such as giving them the Aromatherapy, Stereo, or Unbreakable upgrades.
