The Division 2 Echo 07 error explained

Nobody likes an Echo error.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

What was meant to be a day of fun for The Division 2 community has turned into a nightmare, as players are hammered by Echo 07 error codes when they try to log on to the game. Instead of being able to log on, they get the Echo 07 error message and are disconnected from the server. The good news is that Ubisoft is aware of the issues, but the bad news is that they have not been able to solve the problem yet.

According to Ubisoft, the issue is somehow related to player profiles, and a few hours ago, they made some changes to the backend related to player profiles that have solved the login issues for some players. They did advise that they are looking for a permanent fix to the problem, and will continue to monitor the situation over the coming hours.

For now, all you can do is keep an eye on the official Division 2 Twitter account for updates. Also, try to log on every once in a while to see if the issues are resolved for you. Unfortunately, Ubisoft not being able to solve the problem for everyone implies it is either an issue that needs to be fixed in batches, or that it is an issue with no obvious causes. They are not quite sure how the fix they are applying is helping.

It sounds much worse than it is, and that is just the nature of live service games, as sometimes things go wrong and they can take a while to track down and resolve. As we have already said, just hold tight until Ubisoft manage to fix the issues, because there is little that can be done from your end.
