Where to find Powerful Vex in Destiny 2 – Powerful Vex Breechloader Bounty

Power for the taking.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

At times, you will need to hunt down specific types of enemies in Destiny 2. This can be for a quest, bounties, or limited time events that occur in the game. The Season of the Worthy has introduced Rasputin Bounties, one of which is to find Powerful Vex enemies. Powerful enemies are anything above a red health bar. Fortunately, tracking them down is pretty easy to do.

Public Events

Public Events are the best sources for Powerful enemies, as it will throw various low-level Powerful enemies at you, making them easy to kill. The Vex Crossroad event takes place on Mercury, but it is quite rare.

The Vex Construction public event is far more common and can be found in multiple places on Nessus.

  • The Tangle
  • Watcher’s Grave
  • Hallows
  • Glade of Echoes
  • Exodus Black

It can also be found at Giant’s Scar on Io. This event is the best way to farm Powerful Vex, and you can easily have the bounty finished in a single event.

Strikes

Strikes can be a little hit or miss, due to the random nature of the enemy types. Exodus Crash, The Inverted Spire, The Pyramidion, The Tree of Probabilities, A Garden World, and Warden of Nothing can all contain Vex enemies, including Powerful ones.

Gambit

If you regularly play Gambit, then you can find PowerfulVex every time they end up being the enemy horde in this mode. It’s not ideal, as you never know which enemy type you will be fighting, but if you are in no rush, and play a lot of Gambit anyway, it’s a solid way to find them.
