The Guardian Games in Destiny 2 challenges players to pick a Class and then compete against the community to show that their class is the best. Part of this is to finish different bounties that you can get from Eva Levante in the Tower. One of the Bounties, Void Feast, is causing some trouble for Guardians.
Like many things in Destiny 2, the issue boils down to the instruction being a little unclear. The bounty asks players, “As a Voidwalker using Attunement of Hunger, defeat enemies with Devour in streaks of 10 or more.”
The problem comes from the fact that Devour means the Devour charged melee attack. You need to smack an enemy with the Devour melee, kill it, then wait for it to charge back up and do it again. Thankfully, you don’t have to just hang around while you are waiting, you can kill other enemies via other means, and the streak only appears to be broken if you die.
So, to reword the challenge “As a Voidwalker using Attunement of Hunger, kill ten enemies with your charged Devour melee attack without dying” would be a better way to phrase it. This means you need to use the bottom tree of the Warlock’s Void class.
Using the Claws of Ahamkara Exotic will get you an extra melee charge, and building lots of Strength on your armor will get you some extra melee recharge as well. The Monte Carlo Exotic Auto Rifle would also be a great option, as kills with it will reduce your melee cooldowns.
To make things even weird, you will need to die after your first streak to reset it for the second streak. An interesting bounty design, to say the least.
It’s an awkward bounty even when you know what to do, and how to speed it up, so just find somewhere that weak enemies spawn, such as most patrol zones, and work them over until it is complete.
