Seedot is ready to sprout.

You can expect to see plenty more Seedot spawns in Pokémon Go for the next Community Day, happening on May 24. Seedot is the Seed Pokémon first encountered during your journeys in the Hoenn region for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

You can participate in Community Day on May 24 from 11:00am to 5:00pm in your local timezone. During this time, Seedot will be more frequently spawning through the world, giving you a higher chance to capture multiples of this Pokémon, and potentially obtaining the shiny version of it. The shiny version has a higher chance of showing up, too.

If you evolve Seedot to its final evolved form, Shiftry, during this event, it will know Bullet Seed. You need to make sure you evolve it during this time or two hours after 5:00pm in your timezone. If you miss it, Shiftry won’t learn Bullet Seed. Because of the higher frequency of Seedot spawning everywhere, you have a higher chance of obtaining a high-quality version of the Pokémon.

Shifty is a Grass and Dark-type Pokémon. It has a max 2,333, an attack of 200, a defense of 121, and stamina of 207. Given its weak defense, you primarily want to rely on the Pokémon superior attack to take out your opponent. Still, it’s weak to seven different Pokémon types, making it a risky choice for the Great or Ultra League in Pokémon Go.

Everyone will have a chance to participate in the event on May 24 from 11:00am to 5:00pm in your local timezone. All players will have access to incense that has an increase duration, a Special Research story, a GO Snapshot surprise, and plenty more events during Community Day.
