It’s a big day, Guardians. The first Friday after a new expansion means that Xur, Agent of the Nine, will be bringing new Exotics to sell to everyone!

Or, so we thought.

Xur is here for the first time in Destiny 2: Forsaken, but if you were expecting something shiny and new (and why wouldn’t you?), you’re going to have a bad time.

Where is Xur?

Xur is in the Tower this weekend. He’s in the Hangar section of the area, on a balcony behind Dead Orbit vendor Arach Jalaal.

Inexplicably, Xur has none of the new Exotic items from Forsaken. It’s all old stuff. Today is a day that should have been filled with joy, but is now mired in sadness.

This week’s weapon is Prometheus Lens. It’s a trace rifle that fires a Solar beam that generates a damaging heat field that grows while the weapon continues to fire. It costs 29 Legendary Shards.

For Hunters, Xur has Young Ahamkara’s Spine. These gauntlets make your ability damage grant enhanced Tripmines, and they cost 23 Legendary Shards. Its perks are Fusion Rifle Loader, Hand Cannon Loader, or Impact Induction, and Shotgun Scavenger or Heavy Ammo Finder.

This weekend, Warlocks get Nezarec’s Sin, a helmet. This Exotic has a perk that makes Void-damage kills increase ability energy recharge rate. It costs 23 Legendary Shards. Its perks are Bow Targeting, Hand Cannon Targeting, or Hands-On, and Shotgun Reserves or Heavy Ammo Finder.

Lastly, Titans can purchase Ashen Wake. These gauntlets give your Fusion grenades the ability to explode on impact and gain increased throw speed, and they cost 23 Legendary Shards. Its unique perks are Fusion Rifle Loader, Hand Cannon Loader, or Impact Induction, and Shotgun Scavenger or Heavy Ammo Finder.
