How to unlock agents in Valorant

More agents are waiting.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

All players have the chance to unlock their first agent by merely playing through the game. The more matches you play through and level up the special contract, the quicker you can access additional agents available in Valorant. Five of them should already be unlocked for everyone to ensure all players have access to a full team from the get-go.

When you have the cards available to unlock an agent, go to the collection tab in your main menu before entering another match. You can choose from any of the available agents to unlock, and you can preview their abilities before making your choice.

After you receive your first two unlocks by completing the exclusive contract, you can only purchase new agents by buying Valorant Points. Valorant Points are the premium currency in the game, which allows you to purchase additional cosmetics. Each agent in Valorant costs 200 or 400 Valorant Points to unlock. It costs $4.99 to receive 475 Valorant Points from the in-game store.
