What is the Fire Sale event in Call of Duty Warzone?

Everything must go.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

You will find random events happening during a Call of Duty Warzone match during Season 4. These random events will change the current flow of the game, potentially assisting players who have not had the best of luck with drops, and gives everyone something to be on the lookout for, negative or positive. Everyone benefits from the Fire Sale random event.

The Fire Sale event works similarly to the fire sale that occurs in Call of Duty zombies modes in the past. When it occurs mid-match, a good majority of the items you can find at a buy station in Warzone will have a massive price reduction. All of the items on the list will have an 80 percent discount price, except for the loadout purchases. Those will remain full price, regardless of what happens.

At the same time, player buybacks will become free. When a Fire Sale happens, and you have a missing team member, now is the perfect time to bring them back into the game and get them back into the action. Before making a direct rush to a buy station, you probably want to make sure you have a handful of smoke grenades or clear the area before purchasing anything. These locations will become prime locations for players to gather, and you can bet enemies will take the opportunity to wait until you’re on the Buy Station menu to take you out.

The other two random events, Jailbreak and Supply Chopper, add unique elements to the game to switch things up from the traditional battle royale experience. Make sure you and your team remain on the lookout for these events and do your best to use them to your advantage.
