The fine folks at RareThief have created an interactive map that lets you search for and filter the entire ocean in Sea of Thieves. You can find islands by their name, the best locations for animals, vendors, outposts, and even the occasional easter egg.
The ocean in Sea of Thieves isn’t as vast as it seems. Navigating it is part of the fun of the game, to be honest. However, if the weather isn’t cooperating, or your crew is just not very adapt at helping you reach your desired destination, you may want to resort to more modern methods of assistance. Fortunately, the fine folks over at RareThief have created an interactive map for Sea of Thieves.
Interactive Map
Created by RareThief, this interactive map is similar to a Google Map for the ocean. The map is fully searchable, whether you’re looking for a specific island, or just want to find the nearest outpost with an Order of Souls vendor. You’ll be able to filter the map to show or hide things such as:
- Trading Companies, including Gold Hoarders, Merchant Alliance vendors, and Order of Souls representatives
- Outposts, including the location of shipwrights and taverns
- Islands inhabited by animals, such as chickens, pigs, and snakes
- Points of Interest, such as Skeleton Forts, easter egg locations, rock paintings, and docks

For those that don’t have immediate access to a nearby computer to keep this map open while playing the game, RareThief has created mobile apps for their interactive Sea of Thieves map. Versions are available for Android devices and iOS devices, including iPads. You can download this free app from the Google Play Store or the AppStore.
