A Swag Bagged by the Notable Choke ‘Im Coppens – Sea of Thieves Riddle

If you’re following the pirate’s goal of amassing enormous wealth, you’ve probably been striking out on many voyages provided by the Gold Hoarders. This guide will help you solve the riddle that is part of the A Swag Bagged by the Notable Choke ‘Im Coppens voyage.

This voyage has pirates visit two separate islands in search of treasure. The islands are relatively close to each other and once you arrive at each of them, you’ll start deciphering the related riddles.

Thieves’ Haven Riddle

Coins of plenty lie buried deep, on Thieves’ Haven they’re yours to keep

Like most first lines in riddles, this just refers to the initial location. Head to Thieves’ Haven and make landfall to reveal the second line of the riddle.

At the three colossal stone heads up high ye reward is almost found, 8 paces North-by-North West and break the ground

As the riddle says, you need to make your way all the way to the top of the island. There’s a shipwreck in the cove and you can climb its main mast, followed by a few more ladders, to the reach the top. Then look for the three stone statues near the southern side of the island to find your starting point. Walk the required paces in the proper direction and dig up the treasure.

Plunder Valley Riddle

There’s something on Plunder Valley unseen, it’s in a chest and has a sheen

Make your way to Plunder Valley and as soon as you step on the island, the second line of the riddle will reveal itself.

The chest is close at the scarab hidden at the edge of the North East beach, but you’re not done, dig 5 paces North East grab it and run

The scarab painting you’re looking for is on the north-east beach but it’s not on the large main beach. Instead, head further to the side over some rocks and you’ll find a very small beach with the painting. Then simply walk the required pace and start digging.
