Is Pokémon Café Mix free?

The world of Pokémon has seen many different types of games. Big adventures, puzzle games, and even pinball. In Pokémon Café Mix, you are tasked with helping to establish an up and coming café exclusively for Pokémon. With your trusted friend Leah and her Pokémon Eevee, make treats and drinks for all of the friendly Pokémon that come into the cafe by completing challenges and tasks.

The good news is that Pokémon Café Mix is free to download and play, with microtransactions available in the game. It uses a lives system, whereby failing to complete a puzzle will result in you losing a life. After losing all of your lives, you can either wait a certain amount of time to regenerate life, or you can use the in-game currency, Golden Acorns, to buy another life.

The bulk of the gameplay in Pokémon Café Mix consists of a puzzle mini-game where you have to fulfill certain objectives, such as collecting a certain score or breaking objects within the puzzle, often food objects like tomatoes and sugar cubes. You can use power-ups to help you with it. This will then translate into the points and reward you with golden acorns to use to purchase more lives when you lose one.

However, if you have not accrued enough golden acorns to exchange for another life, you will either need to wait to regenerate a heart, or you can purchase more acorns with real money using the in-game store. However, the main game when you have lives to use is free to play.
