Destiny 2: Forsaken has seen Bounties return to the game in a big way. This is really good to see, as I always found Bounties gave me a good reason to fire up the game more often. One of the new types of Bounties you can get is called Scrapper Bounties. These Bounties can net you glimmer, faction tokens, and other resources. As such, they are well worth doing, because it seems Forsaken will see us all doing a lot of farming.

How To Get Scrapper Bounties
With these Bounties, the clue is in the name. When you are dismantling weapons and armor, there is a chance that Scrapper Bounty will drop. This is called a “lucky dismantle.” If this happens, you will see a Scrapper Bounty icon appear with the materials you get for dismantling on the right-hand side of the screen. The Bounty will end up in your Inventory screen, where you can see the requirements for it.
Different Bounties will set different challenges that you will need to complete within the time limit, which is normally 24 hours. Make sure you read the full description of each Bounty very carefully, as they may need you to perform the challenges in certain places, such as Strikes or the Crucible.
Depending on what they offer, these can be very useful. If you are hunting a full set of armor from a specific planet, the extra tokens can be a blessing. And with the Crucible and Vanguard Challenges that need full sets of armor to complete, those can also be well worth doing.
At the moment I don’t know if there are different levels to the Bounties, as I haven’t had one drop from a Legendary or Exotic dismantle, but I will make sure to keep the guide up to date as more information becomes available.
