Where to upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3

Improve your arsenal.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the challenges in Fortnite for Week 5 is to upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs. This can actually be a little tricky since some recent changes to the game mean that someone can now take the upgrade bench with them after using it themselves. The good news is that Salty Springs does have one upgrade bench, and it can be found in the large red brick building on the north side of the town.

Remember, you will need to gather up plenty of resources to upgrade your weapon, and if you are only interested in finishing the challenge, we would suggest you upgrade your lower-tier weapon, as it will take fewer resources.

If you don’t want to risk getting to Salty Springs and finding that someone has stolen the upgrade bench, you can loot until you find your own, or grab one at a different location, then bring it with you. We predict many mischievous players will steal this particular upgrade bench this week, so it may be best to assume it will be gone and find your own before heading to Salty Springs.

Below, you can find the rest of the challenge for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Week 5.
