A guide for the Warframe Mod “Ice Storm”. Let’s see its stats and attributes.
As Warframe players know, Mods are used to enhance Weapons, Warframes and everything you will get while playing. They are also essential to advance on the Star Map.
You can get them by killing enemies, as a reward for some missions (mainly Excavation, Defence and Survival) or trading them with other players. If you’re wondering where you can find a specific Mod you can use the Codex (you have to write the Mod’s name in the search bar in the Universe section).
In this guide we will focus on the Ice Storm mod, the one that increases Cold Damage of Pistols (and the magazine capacity as well).
Warframe Ice Storm Attributes
- Mod Name – Ice Storm
- Mod Rank – 3
- Capacity Drain & Polarity – 9 Madurai Pol (at max rank)
- Mod Compatibility – Pistol
- Rarity – Rare
RANK | MAGAZINE CAPACITY | COLD DAMAGE | COST |
0 | +10% | +10% | 6 |
1 | +20% | +20% | 7 |
2 | +30% | +30% | 8 |
3 | +40% | +40% | 9 |
Please note that for most weapons, percentage increases in magazine capacity results in a non-integer number. In those cases, if you want to calculate the increase, all you have to do is round the number to the nearest integer.
Comparing mods, we also noticed that Ice Storm gives a higher magazine capacity increase than its counterpart Slip Magazine. The only relevant difference between those two mods is that while Ice Storm has Madurai Pol Polarity, Slip Magazine has a Naramon Pol polarity.
