The Legend of Tadayori Mythic Tale – Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima has some Mythic Tales you can explore to find some excellent new items. The Legend of Tadayori will allow you to track down the fabled Armor of Tadayori, a fierce warrior who protected Japan, and a noted marksman.

Tadayori’s armor will offer different perks that improve your ability with a bow and is an excellent choice for players who enjoy ranged combat.

Where to find the Legend of Tadayori Mythic Tale

The Legend of Tadayori Mythic Tale can be found to the south of the Rustling Bend in Izuhara. When you get into the area, a golden bird will lead you to a musician in the woods. This is where the Mythic Tale begins.

The Violet Crown

The musician will tell you about Tadayori, and send you in search of the Violet Crown. This is shown on the map above. It’s very easy to find, as the Violent Crown in a hill covered in violet-colored flowers. Climb the hill and search the container at the shrine on top of it.

Finding Tadayori’s Rest

The container will hold a picture designed to give you a clue about where to go next. If you turn away from the container, you will see a large mountain in the distance, and you will need to go to the foot of this mountain. The exact location is shown on the map above.

A duel with Kaeda

When you find the entrance to Tadayori’s Rest by crawling through the cliff’s hole, investigate the graves, and then Kaeda will appear and challenge you to a duel. She does not believe that you are who you say you are and thinks you are a thief. You will need to fight her, but she will relent before you need to kill her. Kaeda is extremely fast, but this fight should be easy enough if you are patient.

Exploring Azamo Bay

For the next step, you will need to make your way to Azamo Bay, to the spot marked on the map above. Here you will find the musician and some Mongols. Take out the Mongols, then speak with the musician, and he will tell you to search under the Shrine for the Armor of Tadayori.

When you find it, you will automatically put it on, then you will need to defend the musician from waves of Mongols. When the last enemy falls, the Tale is complete, and you have your new armor.
