How do you get into Shang Tsung’s Throne Room in the Krypt Mode for Mortal Kombat 11?

Shang Tsung’s Throne Room is the room at the North-most area of the map on the surface. It is behind the doors at the palace entrance, the same doors you start at when you first enter the Krypt room.

Opening the doors is pretty simple, but it can be incredibly time-consuming. In a different part of the Krypt, there’s a place call the Warrior Shrine. The shrine should have the statues of the original seven Mortal Kombat characters from the first game in the franchise. There should also be a series of spikes in front of the faces of the 25 playable characters in Mortal Kombat 11.

You need to bring the severed heads of at least ten characters, and spike them in front of where their faces are in the Warrior Shrine. This will open the door to Shang Tsung’s Throne Room. While that may sound simple, it takes a lot of time to get one severe head.

To get the severed head of one of the characters, you would need to perform a Fatality on that character 50 times. We go over the best method to do that, though no matter what it would take a great deal of time for any player.

Fortunately, at the time of this writing, there’s a glitch in the game that would make the process a lot faster. We go over this glitch in a different piece; the glitch could potentially save players hours. It has yet to be patched at this moment, so better take advantage of it.

There are two closed rooms in Shang Tsung’s Throne Room. You will eventually have to spike the heads of all the playable characters in the game to unlock both rooms.

The glitch will make getting all the heads a much easier process. However if it is already patch by the time you’re reading this, good luck.
