Microsoft have announced the new Minecraft AR game, Minecraft Earth, and you can sign up for the beta already.
Minecraft Earth is a new Minecraft AR game from Microsoft. It brings the world of Minecraft to your smartphone and will allow you to interact with the world of Minecraft in the real world. The game will work much like Pokemon Go, fusing elements of the game’s world into the real world using Open Street Maps. The game is planned for release on both Android and iOS devices.
How To Sign Up For The Minecraft Earth Beta
Minecraft Earth Beta sign-ups are already open, but there are some things you should know before doing so. First up, if you sign-up for the Beta you can get a free skin for Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Bedrock. The skin is only available for a limited time, so sign up as soon as you can to get it.
To play in the closed beta, you’ll need a mobile device that runs at least Android 7 or iOS 10. They will also need your Microsoft or Xbox Live account, app store log-in, and answers to a few questions to complete your registration. To sign up follow this link, scroll down the page a little bit, then hit the big green “Sign Up” button.
The closed beta for Minecraft Earth will be launching this summer for both Android and iOS. There will be a limited number of participants, and players must be 18 or older to participate. It is also important to note that the beta might be limited to just a few cities, so there is a chance that you might not get into the beta based on where you live. The game will eventually go live all over the world so you will be able to play it at some point.
