This week in Destiny 2, there is Imperial Treasure to be found. In this guide we show you how to follow the Imperial Treasure Map to the Spine Burrows on Io.

Destiny 2 has gone through the weekly reset, meaning there are more bounties to be done for Calus. These are outstanding bounties to do, as you can get Powerful Gear, Imperials, and Runes from them, all very important in the current Season of Opulence. You can collect these from Werner on the Imperial Barge on Nessus, or Benedict in the Tower Annex. Finish up the bounty, and you will get some rewards, one of which is an Imperial Treasure Map that will lead you to some riches.

This week, one of the Imperial Treasure Maps will send you to the Spine Burrows on Io.

Spawn in at the Lost Oasis and make your way towards the white X shown on the map above. You’ll need to enter a cave to get there, but it is easy to find and is right behind a shallow pool of water. Go past the massive tree in the center of the area, and up a little bit of a hill.

Make your way through the tunnel, then jump across to the small platform when you reach an opening into a large cave. Take out the Taken enemies, then drop down and grab the Imperial Treasure Chest at the other side of the platform. It’s easy to spot, as it glows brightly, you can see its location in the main image of this article.

You should get some Powerful Gear, a Rune, and a Puny Purse of Imperials for your troubles. You can even get more, depending on how you upgraded your Chalice of Opulence. Now that you have collected the Imperial Treasure from Spine Burrows on Io, it’s time to get back to work on those other Calus bounties!
