As you make your way through the Riverside level of Wolfenstein, you will come to an area around the Train Station. You’ll know exactly where it is because you run into a large group of massive enemies armed with those awesome laserbeam weapons.

If you explore the back alleys of this area, you will find a room filled with computer equipment. Inside the room, there’s a floppy disk. Continue through the level, and before you come to a control checkpoint, you find a computer that can decode the disc for you. It tells you about three Gestapo Crates that have a combination lock, and gives you the codes for each crate, along with a rough location.

Each crate contains 250 silver coins, and a collectible, so they are well worth getting.

Stolen Gestapo Crate Locations On Riverside

Stolen Gestapo Crate #1

Gestapo Crate One

The first crate is down the alleyway near the computer that decodes your disk. You need to have some way to get through a breakable barrier. I just used crush to break through them. The code for this crate is 9576.

Stolen Gestapo Crate #2

Gestapo Crate Two

The second crate is at the security barrier. There’s a mounted laser gun here, use it to take out the Panzerhound and as many soldiers, as you can. Then, jump up into the window above you, and the crate is around the corner in that room. The code for this crate is 2703. Make sure you head down the backstairs in this building, as there are a lot of containers to be found in this building and the alley behind it.

Stolen Gestapo Crate #3

Gestapo Crate Three

This crate is near the Ubertechnik store. Follow the main street and keep to the right, and you will see the sign of the store in neon red writing. Across the street are some crates and a truck you can use to climb up to the third crate. The code for this crate is 1234.

And that’s all of the Gestapo Crates in Riverside. Make sure you grab them all, as silver coins are extremely useful in the game.
