In Remnant: From The Ashes, earning experience from killing enemies and completing quests allows you to earn Trait Points. You then use these Trait Points to invest them into a wide variety of Traits to increase your stats in a range of areas. Traits can give you more health, stamina, immunity to certain types of damage, or even faster reloads. We’re going to detail how you can go about resetting these points to try a different build.

Remnant: From The Ashes – How To Reset Your Trait Points

You can only reset your points after you finish your first playthrough. You need an item called the Orb of Undoing, which you get after killing the final boss. With the Orb of Undoing, you can use it to reset all your Traits to zero, giving you a large pool of points to invest as you wish.

When you use the Orb of Undoing, it gets destroyed. You can get more without needing to kill the final boss this time. All you need to do is speak to Reggie at Ward 13. He’s going to have one for sale for 2,500 scrap. I can only assume that Reggie is going out and killing bosses to get his supply. You also need to have rerolled your game, which we detail how to do so in this guide.

Remember, rerolling your game costs you all your map progress and re-positions items and dungeons. However, you do keep all of your gear and unlocked Traits.
