Android smartphone users now have access to register for the Minecraft Earth closed beta. To gain access, you need to follow a few steps. Luckily, they’re pretty quick to go through to for those who already have the accounts set up. For those who don’t, you’re going to need a little time to to get them synced to the closed beta registration.

Sign Up for the Minecraft Earth Closed Beta for Android Users

Visit the Minecraft Website or the Google Play Store

There are two routes you can go to sign-up for the closed beta. The first, and more straightforward of the options, is to go to the Google Play store. You can do this from your web browser or on your smartphone. When you’re there, put in “Minecraft Earth,” and it should take you to the product’s application page. Find the green “pre-register” button. That’s all you need to do! You can click the button again, and it should say, “unregister,” which you can do at any time. If you get into the closed beta, you should receive a push notification telling you to download the game from the Google Play store.

The second alternative is to directly go to the Minecraft website through this link and sign-up for the beta. Before you can sign-up for the beta, you’re going to need to register for a Microsoft account. Follow the sign-in options to do so, or use the email that you use for your Xbox account if you have one. If not, continue to follow the Microsoft account steps to create one, and then return to the sign-up page.

When you finish, you want to click the Going this way requires you to use an email address, confirming your country of Residence, your Postal code, identifying what mobile operating system (OS) you’re using, and sharing your Google ID. Your Google ID should be the email you use for your Google account.
