Control – How To Get Past The Hiss Monster Puzzle In Parapsychology, Old Boy’s Club Mission

You will need to do a little running around to get past the strange black Hiss monster puzzle on the way to the Parapsychology lab in the Old Boys Club mission in Control.

In Control, as you make your way to the Parapsychology department during the Old Boy’s Club mission, you will come to a strange Hiss monster that is trying to eat its way through a room. You need to get past this monster to make it to your destination, so in this guide, we will show you how to lock it safely away.

Control – How To Get Past The Hiss Monster Puzzle In Parapsychology, Old Boy’s Club Mission

Because you have no choice but to get past the monster, you need to lock it safely away. You cannot damage or kill it. You need to be faster than it. Begin by opening the door and heading into the room with the monster. You enter on the right and should see a golden box there. Pick this up with telekinesis and throw it into place above either side of the door. We have it shown as the above image.

Now, you want to run into the tunnel below where you threw the box. After that, head down the corridor to the left. This path brings you back into the main room, but on the opposite side. There will be another golden box here. Throw this over the door to the other side. Once again, head down the tunnel below where you threw the boxes.

Now comes the dangerous part. You need to wait until the monster starts to move down the wide tunnel towards you. As soon as it does, race down the corridor to the left, and head for the terminal show above. You want to go to the left of the door as you come out. Hit the button to seal all the tunnel doors, and open the door you need to use to get to the next part of the story.

It’s not the most challenging section once you get used to the way the monster follows you around, be sure to be accurate when throwing those golden boxes.
