How to fix high ping issue in Call of Duty: Mobile?

In Call of Duty: Mobile, ping is displayed on the right side of the screen, and if you are experiencing a high ping, go through the following steps to fix this issue:

#1 Check Internet Connection

A good internet connection is a must if you want to enjoy the game without any ping issues. So make sure that you are connected to an internet connection having a constant speed to avoid any ping related issues. If you are using mobile data to play, make sure you have a good network on your device. If you are still having trouble, then turn off the internet connection and try reconnecting again.

#2 Don’t Use VPN

VPN connects your device to the servers of other regions, and as a result, the ping eventually goes high. Disconnect your VPN if you are using any while playing Call of Duty: Mobile to connect yourself to the closest available server that will result in a lower ping.

#3 Close Background Apps

Apps like Instagram, YouTube, Spotify can consume your data speed while running in the background resulting in a high ping. So before starting the game, close all the background applications as it will decrease the ping and free up some RAM to avoid lagging issues.

#4 Contact COD: Mobile Help Center

If you are still having the same trouble even after using all the troubleshooting methods mentioned above, contact the customer support of Call of Duty: Mobile by navigating to the settings tab in the game. But before this, make sure that you are playing on the latest version of the game.
