Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Nintendo Switch can involve plenty of running around as you try to find out who wants some bananas and what key goes where. Thankfully, to help you deal with all the backtracking that you will be doing, the game does contain several warp points that allow you to jump around the map instantly.

For the most part, these will be obvious and take the form of raised stone platforms. They are easy to spot. Sometimes you might need to move a rock or chop some weeds to uncover a long-abandoned warp point, however.

Link's Awakening Warp Locations

Above, you will find a map displaying the locations of all the warp points in Link’s Awakening.

  • Just east of Mabe Village
  • To the east of Toronbo Shores
  • South of Animal Village
  • South of the Wind Fish Egg
  • North of Goponga Swamp, with another to the east of it.
  • East of the Mysterious Forest
  • East of Tal Tal Heights

To activate a warp point, all you have to do is find it. Standing on it brings up the map shown above, although it only shows any warp points you have already discovered. You can then click on one to be teleport to it.

While the game does involve a lot of running around the map, these warp points are well placed to allow you to travel around pretty quickly. They can cut out a lot of the longer journeys you need to take as you get further in the game.
