Grounded is the upcoming survival game that brings back heavy memories of the classic Honey, I Shrunk the Kids movies being developed by Obsidian Entertainment for PC and Xbox One. Ahead of the game going into early access on July 28, the team has revealed the talented performances behind the cast. The voice cast has a lot of talent and very familiar faces from many beloved games, movies, and television series.
Before we get into the voices, the game’s story was written by Michael Chu, who you may remember was the head writer for Overwatch for multiple years.
Starting off, Willow is played by Ozioma Akagha. She gave the voice of Alyx Vance in Valve’s 2020 virtual reality game Half-Life: Alyx and played Bumblebee in the cartoon series Teen Titans Go! She also appears in Marvel’s The Runaways.
Josh Brenner plays BURG.L. He has appeared in various cartoon series, but is best known for is roles of Nelson Bighetti in Silicon Valley, Donatello in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Mark Beaks in Ducktales.
Charlet Chung, who is best known for his voice of D.Va in Overwatch, voices Hoops. She also is Julia Argent from the Netflix Carmen Sandiego series and has lent her talents to various shows and games as a side voice.
Wendell is voiced by Zachary Levi, who is best known recently for playing the lead in the DC superhero movie Shazam! and was also the lead on the spy series Chuck. He has appeared in various other games and movies, though. He was Flynn Rider in Disney’s Tangled and one of the members of the Warriors Three, Fandral, in the Thor movies.
Max Mittelman is Pete. He is best known for being the English voice of Saitama in One Punch Man but has lent his voice to many big projects over the years. He was Red XIII in the Final Fantasy VII Remake and has also appeared in Death Stranding, Frozen II, Borderlands III, Persona 5, and played Harry Osborn in the Disney XD series of Spider-Man.
Luke Youngblood from Community plays Max. You also have seen him in the Harry Potter movies as Lee Jordan, Frostee Benson in Fast & Furious Spy Racers, and various smaller projects.
