This walkthrough details how to access Photo Mode, what keys to press to control the Photo Mode Camera, and what each tab in the Photo Mode Menu does. So let’s get started without wasting more time.

How To Access Photo Mode

There are two ways to access the Photo Mode in God of War:

  • First Way: Through The Options Menu.
  • Second Way: By Enabling TouchPad Quick Access (which can be enabled via the SETTINGS).

How To Control The Photo Mode Camera

  • To Navigate Around The Scene: Use the LEFT and RIGHT Thumb Sticks
  • To Pan Up or Down: Use the R2 and L2 Buttons
  • To Move Camera back to its original position (at any time): Press SQUARE

5 Tabs Available In Photo Mode Menu

There are 5 tabs available in the God of War Photo Mode. All the customization options are available in these 5 tabs. Check out the details below.

  1. Camera: Adjust the Field of View, Focal Length, and Camera Roll.
  2. Aperture: Adjust the Depth of Field, Focus Distance, and F-Stop.
  3. Filters: Adjust the Film Grain, Exposure, Filter, and Filter Intensity options.
  4. Borders: Add a Vignette and adjust the Vignette Intensity and Vignette Falloff. This includes a variety of Border styles and the official God of War logo.
  5. Characters: Toggle the visibility of Kratos, Atreus, and all other characters in the scene. And my personal favorite, we’ve added the ability to change Kratos and Atreus’s facial expressions!
