Friendly Neighbor, Plague Cure & Destroy Plague Heart – State of Decay 2

In this chapter of State of Decay 2 you will have to find and save a neighbor who will be further recruited as an ally, next you will have to locate plague sample and then plague heart. Destroying plague heart will stop the zombie and clear the infestation area.

In the previous chapter Healing the Sick, your objective was to build the infirmary. For the next part, you will be receiving a radio transmission. You will have to locate a neighbor and save him from the zombie attack, next he will tell you about Plague Heart, destroying them will clear the infestation in that particular area. Also, you will be able to make cure through infirmary from plague samples and heal your friend.

State of Decay 2 Walkthrough

After the radio transmission, there will be two choices, you can either help the person or you can treat your friend. To start this objective pick the first choice Hang in there. This will unlock Human Enclaves, you can help them and they will become your ally, trading partners or recruit. Drive to the location and talk to the new neighbor. After picking the choice of tracking down medicines, you will learn about infestations which are created by screamers.

Not-So-Friendly Neighbors

The next location is abandoned clinic, go with the new neighbor to the location. Locate the screamer who is outside, he will appear near the house. After killing it help your neighbor. You can earn influence by finishing goal, trading and helping other players. Talk to the neighbor to begin the next objective.

One Last Ingredient

Go the next location to collect information on preparing blood plague cure. Once you are done you will have to collect one sample from the fallen plague zombie. Go to the next marker, there will be zombies around you can kill them using your car if you are having enough fuel with you. Take the sample and place it in the supply locker. Go to the Infirmary and prepare the plague cure. Go to Craft Medical Items in the Infirmary, and select the medicine bottle to prepare the cure. Once done interact with your friend to save him.

Continue to Survive

After the radio transmission to the neighbor on the base to know more about Plague Sample. To learn more pick the first option. He will tell you about Plague Hearts, which can be destroyed by explosives. Go to Swine and Bevine, to destroy the plague heart. The heart will be inside a building filled with zombies around. Focus on destroying the heart, you can use some explosives on it and even shoot it with a weapon. You will have to keep shooting it for a while, the problems will be the zombies around. So keep moving and shooting it until it blows up. Gather the plague samples, you can scavenge the area for items and then return to your base and once again talk to the neighbor to recruit him in your team. Walk through the base, heal injured friends and for your next objective you will have to promote a Community Member to Leader. There will be side goals you can play to gather more resources.
