Each of the Destiny 2 prime armor sets has a default color. However, Bungie also included handcrafted colorblind variants to function in the game’s different colorblind modes, listed above.

The Reaper

The acidic green Reaper set is for those who confirm the most kills and want to share the benefits of their optimized carnage with their teammates. The more kills you can get back to back, the better your teammates are going to do in the match.

Perks:

  • Weaken high-value targets
  • Multikills generate special ammo
  • Gain increased mote lifetime
  • Powerful enemy kills increase grenade recharge

The Collector

The slick white Collector set is for those who stay close to the one performing all of the kills, leaving the responsibility up to you to pick up the motes afterword. It’s a tedious job, but for your team to win, someone has to do it. With this armor set, you’re also responsible for sending blockers to prevent your opponents from scoring.

Perks:

  • Drop motes on death
  • Motes grant overshield
  • Gain ammo on mote deposit
  • Send giant 20-mote blockers

The Sentry

The smooth yellow Sentry set stands guard over the precious horde of prizes, defiant and unrelenting in their task. It’s an important role, and this armor set enhances a player’s time spent sticking close to the team’s bank.

Perks:

  • Multikills grants a damage buff against Taken
  • Bank gives health regeneration
  • Mark invaders for teammates
  • Buff allies in the Well of Light

The Invader

The sizzling red Invader is the final armor set, and it’s for those who drive through the enemy’s ranks and head straight to the bank. Not only does this armor set improve your time next to the enemy’s bank, but you’re about to become an enemy’s annoying nightmare as they try to push you back.

Perks:

  • Gain ammo while invading
  • Improved invasion overshield
  • Damage bonus on Guardian kills
  • Lock and drain motes from the enemy’s bank
