Modern Warfare fans interested in getting into the game’s newly announced beta only have one way to do so, and that’s by pre-ordering game. The best way to go about this is to go with the standard edition of the game. However, for those who are diehard Call of Duty fans, you’re going to want something a little bit more than only the game. Activision has three different editions of their newly rebooted franchise, and here’s what you get with each choice.

It does not matter what edition you pre-order, as long as you grab it before Sept. 19, you’re going to gain access to the Modern Warfare beta if you have a PlayStation 4, pre-order the game before Sept. 12 to gain access to the earlier beta, exclusive to that console.

Pre-order Editions Available for Modern Warfare

The Standard

Do you want the straightforward Modern Warfare experience when you play the game? Here you go. The standard edition is precisely that with nothing extraordinarily special about this version. You’re going to get a handful of iconic in-game items, but you’re not going to into game a few days early or any special character packs. This edition is going to cost you $59.99.

Here’s what you get when you pre-order the Standard edition:

  • A copy of Modern Warfare
  • Custome in-game Tactical Knife
  • Prestige Token in Black Ops 4
  • Playable Capt. Price Blackout Character in Black Ops 4
  • Early access to the Open Beta

Operator Edition

Operator Edition with Packs

If you want to add a bit more flavor to your Modern Warfare experience, then you’re going to want the Operator Edition. This one is going to cost you $79.99 to order, and you’re going to get a bit more to your game. You’re going to get everything already mentioned in the Standard edition. But you’re also going to get specific packs with the game, which include a character skin, weapon variant, along with additional bonus content.

Here’s what you’re getting when you pre-order the Operator Edition:

These points are going to give you cosmetic options to pick from when they release to the game. They may not immediately have things you want, but if you plan to stick around in the game, you may want to double down on this version. You can grab it for $99.99.

You can freely wear these goggles, and use them in the dark, much like you would in the game. You can switch between day and night so that you can run around with them during the daytime. There’s an adjustment range on the goggles, so you zoom in a full 20 meters away. You don’t need batteries, but a USB cable to plug the goggles in to recharge them.
