Patch 1.04 has just landed for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Update: It would seem that the patch has added both Ground War, and Free for all to the game, so if you have been looking forward to those modes, they are no available to play. We are still waiting on full patch notes for the update.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just received update 1.04. The update clocks in at 1.804G for both PS4 and Xbox One, and a rather hefty 7G for PC. It’s the first patch since the game launch, so I expect it to be full of minor tweaks for lag and stability issues that people have been experiencing with the game since it launched.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1.04 Patch Notes
We are still waiting on Patch Notes for the game. Activision has been having some issues today with their Support website, which may be impacting their ability to make the Patch Notes public.
A quick look at update 1.03 showed some weapon balance tweaks, and an attempt to fix the spawns in the game. I would, frankly, expect more of the same in this patch. We also might see some groundwork being laid for the arrival of Ground War, which is due to arrive in the game tomorrow. Either way, I expect a lot of minor early tweaking, and technical/connection based stuff in these early updates, as it’s very common to see changes like this in multiplayer shooter games.
For now, that is all just me dreaming my gamer dreams, so take it with a pinch of salt. We will be updating this article with the full Patch Notes as soon as they are made available by Activision or Infinity Ward.
