Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets a lot of praise for their in-depth multiplayer modes and how many resources they dedicate to making it a lot of fun. Players loved it, and they continue to adore it each year a new entry in the series comes out. This year’s entry, Modern Warfare, is no different. While players are going to have a lot of fun playing the game, some want to quickly level up to get access to all of the weapons. Here’s what you can do to make your process easier.

How to Level Up Fast in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

If anyone wants to naturally level up their multiplayer profile, going through the game’s different multiplayer modes is the best way. Continually going through and playing the game is going to have you racking up plenty of experience points. However, here’s how you optimize your time.

Watch those Daily Challenges and Missions

You can check out the daily challenges and missions before you jump into a game. You’re going to want to check these out because if you complete these, you’re going to get a healthy dose of experience points to your profile. The daily challenges are going to pop up every day, so make it a habit to check them out and see what you need to do to complete them. There are only three, so you likely won’t spend too much time on them. The missions, located next to the challenges, are a bit heftier, but they offer excellent rewards for your time.

Play the Objective

If you’re playing something like Ground War or Cyber Attack, you want to focus on what’s going on with the objective. Sure, you can solely go after killing enemies and get some serious points. However, by playing the objective, you can ensure your team is going to win, and you walk away from the match the victors. It pays to pay attention to the score and focus on working with your teammates. Going after kills is important in each mode, but it’s not going to be the deciding factor.

Go for the Head

Aim for those headshots for those of you solely going for those kills. They’re going to take out those pesky enemies efficiently you’re consistently running into and effortlessly get you those quick kills. This process is more straightforward said than done, though. You’re going to want to find a decent series of weapons to use, and you feel comfortable within the game. You can find some pretty great locations to snipe people and take them out on the map.

Play the Campaign and Spec Ops

You’re going to earn multiplayer levels for going through the campaign and the Spec Ops campaign. These areas are going to give you a decent headstart from those who merely jump straight into the fray. It’s not going to get you to max level immediately, but it’s a good idea to spend a little time in these areas fighting the NPCs and getting used to the game. Not only that, but you’re going to unlock operator skins. These don’t enhance or change your gameplay, but they’re going to look great when you’re in the middle of a fight.

Use 2XP Boosters

These boosters are extremely limited. You can use these to give yourself an XP boost while you’re playing the multiplayer section. However, their timers never stop. If you activate one, hopefully, you plan to play the entire time it’s time slot says, otherwise it’s going to go to waste. The game tells you can earn these by completing challenges, but so far, none of them appear to show up. For the time being, you can only earn them by acquiring them from official Modern Warfare retailers that are giving the codes out. Grab them if you can, activate them in the Multiplayer section of the game, and start grinding those levels.

Those are some of the best ways to get a higher level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. There’s no sure-fire method to grind or glitch out the game. So keep playing the game, and get the most from the franchise by picking a mode and playstyle that fits your gameplay preferences. Having a great time is the most important part.
