Will Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have Early Access?

Do players get the chance to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order early through an early access option?

Star Wars fans are eagerly awaiting their chance to jump into Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which releases for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 Nov. 15. The game features a Jedi padawan on the run from the Empire, five years after Order 66 happened.

The game’s publisher, EA, wants to prevent leaks or spoilers about the game’s story from getting out. To help in this effort, they have taken out all options for players to get their hands on the game any earlier than the uniform release date.

For example, players have the option to purchase EA’s subscription program Origin Access and pick the higher tier, Premier, to get access to the game on PC for $14.99 per month. Members of the subscription service have access to an extensive library of games, much like Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. Those who get the Premier tier of Origin Access typically have the chance to play new games a few days earlier, but that’s not the case for Jedi: Fallen Order.

Everyone is going to be to play the game Nov. 15. There’s no exclusive pre-order option to play the game earlier.

PC players can get the game on Steam but are going to need an EA Origin account to access their game, or pre-order the game directly from Origin for PC. PlayStation 4 players can get it from the PlayStation Store, and Xbox One players can get the game on the Microsoft Store. Members of EA Access can get 10 percent off their purchase on the Microsoft Store and the Playstation Store, but note that this program is, oddly enough, separate from EA’s Origin Access subscription program.

Jedi: Fallen Order is not available on Epic Games Store or Microsoft Store for PC.
