In this guide, we will show you how to build a Railjack Battleship in Warframe.
Railjacks arrived in Warframe with update 26.1, Rising Tide. The Railjack is a massive battleship that takes part in ship-to-ship battles, needs a full crew, and is home to a brand new Cephalon. The Railjack is built and housed in a Dry Dock in the Clan Dojo and can be upgraded with mods, new weapons, and cosmetics.
The first step in building your Railjack is to create a Dry Dock in your Clan Dojo. After that, you will need to research and develop Cephalon Cy. Once both these steps are done, and you have finished The Second Dream quest, you will get access to the Rising Tide quest in your Codex.
The Rising Tide Quest
The quest begins after you have researched and built Cephalon Cy in your Foundry. Go to your Codex, then Quests, and find Rising Tide. Click the “Begin” button in the bottom right of the screen. Cephalon Cy will ask you to take him to the Dry Dock and to install him there. Just go to your Dojo and follow the waypoint.
When Cephalon Cy is installed, he will tell you that to build the Railjack; you need to find old parts. He will then give you the location of the first part.
Step 1 – The Fuselage
Cephalon Cy will send you to Mars to find the fuselage. Just go to your Navigation screen, click on Mars, and the mission will be marked on a node. This mission is straightforward, run to the marker, and interact with the fuselage to begin scanning it. You need to keep the area clear of enemies, as they interrupt the scan if they get too close. Two Sentient Drones will arrive that block the scanner, so kill them, and the scan can resume. When it is done, head for extraction.
Cephalon Cy will ask you to go to the Dry Dock. Join the Dojo and Fast Travel there. The fuselage needs repair, and you will need the following resources to fix it:
- 100,000 Credits
- 30 Cubic Diodes
- 1000 Plastids
- 5,000 Rubedo
- 10 Neural Sensors
Cubic Diodes are a new resource that has been added with the Rising Tide update. They drop from dead Eximus units on Europa, in missions on the Ice Planet tileset. We have a full guide that will help you quickly farm Cubic Diodes.
The fuselage will take six hours to repair, and there is no way to rush this. While you wait, you can farm what you need for the next step.
Step 2 – The Propulsion System
Once the fuselage is repaired, Cephalon Cy will send you to Earth to find a propulsion system. Go to Earth in your Navigation screen, and the mission will be marked on one of the nodes. It is similar to the Mars mission, defend the scan, don’t let enemies too close, and take out the six Sentient Drones that will interfere with the scan. When the scan is finished, you can head for extraction.
Once again, Cephalon Cy will ask you to head to the Dry Dock to help repair the propulsion system. You will need the following resources:
- 100,000 Credits
- 20 Carbides
- 1000 Cryotic
- 3 Orokin Cells
- 6,000 Nano Spores
Carbides are another resource that was added in the Rising Tide update. They will drop from dead Eximus Units on Ceres, on the Shipyard tileset. We have a full guide that will help you quickly farm Carbides.
The propulsion system will take six hours to repair, and there is no way to rush this part. You will need to wait for the repairs to finish, then proceed to the next step.
Step 3 – Port Nacelle
Once the propulsion system is repaired, Cephalon Cy will send you to Lua. The mission plays out the same as before, but this one is a little more awkward due to the area it takes place. Some Battalysts can also show up, so be sure to bring a good variety of hard-hitting weapons and damage types with you. When the scan is complete, extract and return to the Dojo.
Install the port nacelle, and you will need the following resources to repair it:
- 100,000 Credits
- 20 Carbides
- 1500 Circuits
- 9000 Alloy Plate
- 50 Control Module
The port nacelle will take six hours to repair, and there is no way to rush this part. You will need to wait for the repairs to finish, then proceed to the next step.
Step 4 – Starboard Nacelle
The next mission occurs on Venus, and once again plays out like all the others. Follow the waypoint, then interact with the starboard nacelle to begin the scan. Keep the area clear of enemies and kill the Drones and Battalysts when they appear.
When you get back to the ship, Cephalon Cy will once again direct you to the Dojo. Install the starboard nacelle, then repair it using the following resources.
- 100,000 Credits
- 30 Pustrels
- 50 Fieldron Samples
- 15 Morphics
- 10 Neurodes
Pustrels are a new ore type that was added in the Rising Tide update. If you haven’t gotten any yet, we have a guide on where to find Pustrels. Once again, it’s a six-hour wait, with no way to rush it.
Step 5 – Tail Section
The mission for the tail section is on Sedna, and by now, you should be more than used to what you need to do. When you get back to the ship, head for the Dojo, and use the following resources to repair the tail section.
- 100,000 Credits
- 20 Copernics
- 3000 Ferrite
- 1500 Polymer Bundle
- 15 Argon Crystal
Copernics are another new ore type that was introduced with this quest. We have a full guide on how to farm Copernics that you should find useful. The fifteen Argon Crystals is a bit of a doozy, so I would suggest heading to the Recruit tab in chat and finding people who want to run a Void farm.
Step 6 – Engine Cowling
It’s off to Europa to find the engine cowling. This mission could be a little hectic for you, depending on how long you have been playing the game. There will be a lot of Battalysts to contend with. When you get back to the ship, you will need the following resources to repair the engine cowling.
- 100,000 Credits
- 10 Copernics
- 50 Detonite Ampule
- 3000 Ferrite
- 3500 Salvage
There is another six-hour wait for the engine cowling to repair, and then you will be finished. The Railjack is now complete, and Cephalon Cy decides that despite his past failures, he is the only viable Cephalon to integrate with the ship. Interact with the console again to start this process, and the Rising Tide mission is over.
You can now enter your Railjack by walking down to the end of the low hanging platform to the left and right of the ship and interacting with the doors. There is not currently anything to do aboard the Railjack, as Cephalon Cy is going through the integration process.
