This guide shows two specific locations that Skunks can be found in Far Cry 5. This includes high resolution screenshots and a detailed description of each. However, Skunks can be in most places, just not reliably.
There have been many times that I’ve been sprayed by a Skunk in Far Cry 5. Most often it’s when I’m in the middle of a gun battle and the last thing I need is to be distracted by the awful smell. Of course, when I’m looking for them, they are nowhere to be found. After some digging, though, I was able to find two specific locations where Skunks are plentiful.
Where to Find Skunks
There is a road that leads from Dutch’s Island to Faith’s Region in Far Cry 5. Taking that road in that direction leads to an area heavily populated with Skunks. Walking along the road will eventually reveal a sign, and looking at that sign will mark the Hope County map for future reference.
A second Skunk colony can be found deep in Faith’s Region, not far from Rock Bass Lake, a spot where there are lots of Rock Bass (duh) and Smallmouth Bass to be caught. I’d advise caution walking into this area due to how easy it is to get sprayed by these little turds. If hunting for them is the goal here, spot them from a distance with binoculars and have specialists go do the killing.
Truthfully, these menaces can be found all over Hope County, so seeking them out would only be advised as part of a specific quest. Otherwise, steer clear and get back to the business of collecting all those nifty Vietnam Lighters sitting about.
There’s a lot more to do than just chase Skunks all day. If the lighters aren’t desirable, the Prepper Stashes offer great lore and loot. Visiting the TL;DR Games Far Cry 5 guide hub will reveal all our content, making it easier to take down Joseph “The Father” Seed.
