All Caldera map changes in Call of Duty: Warzone Season Four

A part of Verdansk has now invaded the island.

Call of Duty: Warzone’s fourth season may be led by the new Fortune’s Keep Resurgence map, but there are several new additions to also see in Caldera. The massive island has received minor changes in the past, though it has now been gifted with a beloved Verdansk location, an abandoned ship at the center of one popular POI, and much more. Here’s every change you should look out for in Caldera.

New POI: Storage Town

Verdansk may be permanently retired, but that hasn’t stopped Storage Town from coming into Warzone Pacific. Planted in between Mines and Dig Site, the returning POI is restored in its entire form, meaning players can visit its dozens of storage units, water towers, and indoor pool areas once more. However, as it’s centered around other locations, those entering Storage Town will need to watch out for long-range gunners.

Arsenal delivers yet another hot drop area

As if Arsenal wasn’t jam-packed enough, the location now trades in the empty space between its hangers and apartment buildings for a large ship. Players planning to see the addition can also take advantage of two new watch towers that hover over the ship — perfect for wreaking havoc with a sniper or marksman rifle.

Locked bunkers now include gold and more loot

The seven bunkers that were first introduced in Season Three now offer even more weapons and equipment than before. Players can now also find large sums of gold inside, making for an excellent way to complete one of the Mercenaries of Fortune Event challenges. But, there is a catch. Golden Keycards will need to be found from lootboxes, contracts, or Supply Drops in order to open their doors.

The summer sun soaks up most of Caldera’s rivers

Going through the rivers of Caldera has always been a burden, especially as it isn’t as fast as running on the ground. Luckily, this will no longer be an issue in most POIs, as the bodies of water within Docks, Fields, Radio Station, and Village have run dry.

Capitol and Peak receive more minor adjustments

As fans weren’t too pleased with how some locations were difficult to exit, the new update supplies easier ways to get around Capitol and Peak. For Capitol, players watching over the map from its towering structures can now take bridges that are established on their roofs. Meanwhile, Peak features even more staircases within its underground tunnels and an industrial building near the side of its volcano.

Along with updated Caldera locations, Season Four also ropes in a new Battle Pass with plenty of cosmetics to unlock. Players can expect to earn several skins when leveling it up, but there are also two new weapons to grab a hold of. These are the Marco 5 SMG and UGM-8 light machine gun, both of which are free for all players.
