All Season of Legends timed research tasks and rewards in Pokémon Go

The first special research project for the Season of Legends in Pokémon Go has arrived. The Season of Legends special research has you working alongside Professor Willow in an adventure that will take up the rest of the three-month-long season. We’re not sure if a special legendary Pokémon will make its appearance by the end of the Season of Legends. However, we know these special research tasks will highlight Tornadus, Landorus, and Thundurus and how they can change forms. These Pokémon will be featured in five-star raids all month, and at the end, their Therian Formes will be available. These will be new Pokémon for players to capture, with new stats and, potentially, movesets.

This special research task will be available to all players starting on March 9 at 10 AM in their local time zone. Nosepass’ shiny form will also be available at this time.

All Season of Legends tasks and rewards

We will be updating these tasks and rewards as they become available.

Task 1

• Catch 10 Rock-type Pokémon – 10 Poké Balls
• Make 5 Great throws – 10 Great Balls
• Transfer 10 Pokémon – 10 Pinap berries

Rewards: 500 Stardust, 1,500 XP, and a Kabuto encounter

Task 2

• Catch 10 Ground-type Pokémon – 10 Hyper potions
• Catch 5 Pokémon boosted by weather – 1 Mossy lure
• Take a snapshot of Landorus – 10 Landorus candy

Rewards: 500 Stardust, 2,000 XP, and a Drilbur encounter

Task 3

• Catch 10 Flying-type Pokémon- 5 Max revives
• Catch 5 Pokémon boosted by weather – 1 Fast TM
• Take a snapshot of Tornadus – 10 Tornadus candy

Rewards: 500 Stardust, 2,000 XP, and a Ducklett encounter

Task 4

• Catch 10 Electric-type Pokémon – 10 Ultra Balls
• Catch 5 Pokémon boosted by weather – 1 Charged TM
• Take a snapshot of Thundurus – 10 Thundurus candy

Rewards: 500 Stardust, 2,000 XP, and a Joltik encounter

Task 5

• Claim reward – 2,000 XP
• Claim reward – 2,000 XP
• Claim reward – 2,000 XP

Rewards: 5,000 XP, a Unova stone and a Munna encounter
