The Indian government has banned 118 Chinese apps including PUBG Mobile amidst the rising tensions with the government of China. Due to this, the Garena Free Fire and Call of Duty: Mobile players are also worried if these games have also been banned along with PUBG Mobile.
Fortunately, Singapore-based Garena Free Fire, and USA-based Call of Duty: Mobile are not banned in India, and players will still be able to download and play them without any problems. You can have a look at the complete list of 118 apps that have been banned below.
According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, these apps have been banned under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. “This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security, and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace,” the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said.
