Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Can you reset the May Day Tour maze in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

It's confusing.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

It is May Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which means you can try to complete the May Day Tour maze between May 1 and May 7. If you speak with Tom Nook at the Resident Services building, he will tell you about May Day and let you know that he has left a special May Day Ticket at the airport for you. This ticket will get you a trip to a special May Day Tour island that Tom has set up that contains the maze.

We have a full guide to help you get through it, but if you have already started the maze and feel you have made a mistake, then you might be wondering if you can reset the maze. The answer is that yes, you can. If you make a mistake and need to reset the island, open your NookPhone and click on the Rescue Services option. This will be a helicopter icon in the phone. If it is not on the first page of options, hit the right button on the D-pad.

Click on the icon, and you can have Rescue Services reset the island for 100 Bells, allow you to get another shot at the maze. Be sure to use our guide above to avoid future mistakes. Once you get through the island, you will get Rover’s Briefcase, and this is the only way to get that item.

When you do finish the maze, just speak with Rover at the end, then you can return to the airplane and make your way back to your own island. Rover’s Briefcase will be waiting for you in the post box at your house.
